Making Out on First Dates

An excerpt from the "Girls Night In" radio show/podcast that I do every Wednesday with Jenny Peck and Sarah Colombo:
Jenny: There are those moments sometimes where it's just so awkward, you have to make out. Like, that's the only thing that can happen in the given situation.
Me: That has never happened to me.
Jenny: I think that's happened to me at least five times.
Me: If I feel awkward, I am not going to make out with someone.
Jenny: No, but it's like that awkward...you know they want to make out with you, but your faces are really close and they're not doing anything, so it's like "Well I guess I'm just going to have to do it."
Me: So are you saying you'll make out with a boy you're on a date with even if you're not really that into him if he puts his face close to yours?!
Sarah: I'm going to try that one.
Me: I would never do that.
Sarah: Yeah, me neither. I would just move my face farther away.
